This tree represents a substantial update of three earlier trees: The Jacksons of Ahanesk, Glanbeg & Waterford. I may have made errors in the merge, so I do hope that eagle-eyed readers will catch them and let me know. See also the Outline Tree (they are sometimes easier to follow).

PS Some of the formatting has a mind of its own. I have quit wrestling with it. The information is all readable, even if several of the footnote numbers have ended up in silly places.
March 20, 2014. Updated with info from The Bengal Obituary.
February 1, 2016. All future updates will be in the Rootsweb tree. Several errors have been fixed, and new material added.

Descendants of John JACKSON

NOTE: This tree includes members of previous trees that were associated with several JACKSONs of Waterford, Ahenesk & Glanbeg. I apologize for some formatting issues. It is all legible, but some of the footnote numbers seem to have a mind of their own.

Mrs. Phoebe Jackson,

Late wife of Lieut. Edward Rowland Jackson

Who died the 20th November 1785, aged 24 years.

And ye who now with pensive thoughts peruse

The sad effusions of a mournful muse

Yet mark though beauty gives thee every grace

And youth’s warm blood still flushes in your face

Perhaps o’er you death holds his iron rod,

And unprepar’d demands thee from thy God.
