COULTER, Ann[15] |
Widow of Saml COULTER [NOTE: nče DICKIE] |
[1] This unnamed son is possibly a son of the Alexander COULTER who was a grandson of Alexander COULTER (1677-1721) and a son of Joseph (about whom we know nothing).
[2] This is possibly the Joseph COULTER (1704-1796) who was a grandson of Alexander COULTER (1677-1721) and son of Thomas COULTER
[3] Elizabeth COULTER b. 1758, daughter of Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg & Jane SMALL (1724-1783).
[4] Mary COULTER b. 1759, daughter of Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg & Jane SMALL (1724-1783).
[5] Anne COULTER, b 1766, daughter of Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg & Jane SMALL (1724-1783).
[6] Margarette wife of Alexander – I wonder if she died after giving birth in August.
[7] Possibly the first Mary COULTER, who died before 1759, daughter of Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg & Jane SMALL (1724-1783).
[8] Probably the Samuel COULTER (1700-1760) of Carnbeg, son of Thomas COULTER and Anne MAFFETT. His gravestone inscription indicates that he died September 18, 1760. I have no explanation for the discrepancy in dates.
[9] Possibly the first Anne COULTER who died before 1766, daughter of Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg & Jane SMALL (1724-1783).
[10] Thomas COULTER (1709-1769) of Carnbeg husband of Jane SMALL. According to Dundalk library records, he died two days earlier.
[11] Mary COULTER, wife of Samuel COULTER (1700-1760) of Carnbeg. Her gravestone inscription indicates that she dies May 15, 1771.
[12] It is possible that she was the wife of Joseph COULTER (1704-1796)
[13] Joseph COULTER sr. (170-1796). The gravestone records give a date of death of March 29th. There was supposedly no heirs, so the “jr.” may be referring to a younger Joseph rather than a son of this Joseph.
[14] Samuel COULTER (1755-1801) of Carnbeg. His gravestone record indicates that he died June 16, 1801.
[15] Anne COULTER nče DICKIE (1772-1803). Her gravestone record indicates that she died August 6, 1803. She was already widowed and left five orphaned children ranging in age from 10 years old to two.
