Deeds Research –my notes.

I have broken the notes from my deeds research into 13 posts that are about 20 or so pages each. The whole file is too large to handle in a single post. Whenever the deed has been fully transcribed, I have added a hyperlink to the transcription. In some cases, I have also included a hyperlink to the pertinent family tree. More hyperlinks will be added as time permits.

These notes have been taken over a span of several years. I started as a novice, and some of the notes will reflect that. A more authoritative site is Nick Reddan’s Deeds Project. The transcribers who contribute have a much better grasp than I do of the legal language. I am particularly indebted to all these transcribers, but particularly Mike and Dawn. Together, they have allowed me to take steps in understanding links between various JACKSON families that would have otherwise been impossible.
