Wicklow.  Religion: Church of Ireland.- - as was his wife, children & grandchild.  Age: 64, born in Ireland  The house was built of stone, brick or concrete, had 3 occupied rooms, 3 windows in front and had a slate roof. There was a stable,  cow house, calf house, piggery, fowl house, turf house & barn.  NOTE: He owns the property as well as the property at House #3 Cowpasture, Tober, Co. Wicklow where three other Jacksons live - likely related. It would seem that his brother, William owns the adjacent property.

7.  Mura Sayers, He was a farmer in Kiltegan, and died 1963.

9.  1911 Census, She is still residing with her parents and is unmarried, age 26.

10.  1901 Census, NOTE: I have tentatively placed him here as a son of John JACKSON (b. 1837) & Elza JACKSON, although he may be a son of William JACKSON (b. 1841) who lives next door to John JACKSON (b. 1841).   The house had a slate roof, and stone, brick or concrete walls and 4 rooms. A 2nd class house. There was also a stable, cow house, calf house & fowl house.  House #3, Cowpasture, Tober, Wicklow. Named as brother to  John (b 1876) and William (b 1883).

12.  1901 Census, NOTE: I have tentatively placed him here as a son of John JACKSON (b. 1837) & Elza JACKSON, although he may be a son of William JACKSON (b. 1841) who lives next door to John JACKSON (b. 1841).  House #3, Cowpasture, Tober, Wicklow. Named as brother to  Anthony (b.189) and William (b 1883)  .

13.  Mura Sayers, Her information was that he was born 1873 and died 22.1.1948. Some of the census ages may be suspect.

14.  1901 Census, I am placing him as a brother of John JACKSON  b.1837 based on a hunch at this point. They live in adjacent properties.  He owns land at Woodfield Glen, Talbotstown, Baltinglass, West Wicklow.

15.  Will Probate, Probate November 8, 1906  of the Will of William JACKSON late of Woodfield Baltinglass Co Wicklow Farmer who died 26 July 1903 granted to Ann JACKSON the widow. Effects £146 12s. .

17.  1911 Census, In the 1911 Census, neither parent is mentioned and two of the brothers William (now age 30) and John (now age 26) live with their sister Susan (age 23). They are all CoI and all single.

18.  1901 Census, In the 1901 Census he is living in Belfast and is a constable in RIC.

20.  1901 Census, In the 1901 Census he is at Belfast. In the 1911 Census, he is at his grandparents house in Co. Wicklow.

22.  1911 Census, House #1, Cowpasture, Tober, Co. Wicklow.  Samuel JACKSON age 39, wife Martha age 33; daughters Elizabeth May, age 2 & Doris Martha agge 8 mo. Married 1908. All b. Co Wicklow.  He owns the land with a stable, cow house, calf house, dairy, piggery, foul house, barn & shed.
