JACKSONs in Down Survey
http://downsurvey.tcd.ie/landowners.php
I will add links to these 5 men as I learn more. For now, knowing the names of the townlands is a great help in moving forward. I intend to look for the NOTE: All acreage is in Plantation measure.

Co. Westmeath: Ralph JACKSON NOTE: These holdings are all in a parish close to the border of Co. Meath. I cannot yet pin this one down. There are 2 Ralph JACKSONs listed on the 1630 Muster rolls of Co. Fermanagh. It is possible that he is the younger. [Ralph Jackson of Armagh, Yeoman m. Margaret. His will 16 June 1637. Son, Ralph Jackson Ms 141 now P8295B at National Library, Dublin]. I have a hunch that he is connected to the Jacksons of Lisburn, hence likely a Quaker. In 1716 Ralph Jackson was a Sword Cutler, at the sign of the Flaming Sword, next door to P. Chambell's on the lower end of Cork-hill, near Smock-alley in Dublin. He died 1757, and was possibly a son of Ralph JACKSON d 1703, yeoman. In 1735, a Ralph JACKSON married Mary VANDERLEUR in Dublin.
