This signature was on DEED: 406861 which
is likely linked to the one beneath. It is dated May 6, 1807 and
refers to Joseph OLIVER of Tullymore. It concerns
leases of lands in the Kennedies - a townland which is bordered
by Ballinahone - a townland associated with many of our OLIVER
names. NOTE:
Hopefully signatures on deeds concerning Ballinahinebeg will also
help with some of these relationships. |

This is the earliest OLIVER signature that I have so far. It was
on DEED: 24787 concerning
a lease between George JOHNSTON of Wood Park (AKA Ballynametagh and William
OLIVER of Lislooney. A hundred years later, a Benjamin OLIVER held
leases at Lislooney. There is most likely a familial connection. |
