NOTE: The name LOUGH is a new one for me. They show in Griffiths with many of the same townland connections as mentioned in the deed beneath. I will follow up on some of the BRADFORDs when I have had time to learn more.

To the Register appointed by act of Parliament for Registry of Wills Deeds and so forth made between Margaret LOUGH[1] and Matthew LOUGH[2] both of Crievaghey[3] in the parish of Clones and County of Monaghan of the one part and Miss BRADFORD[4] and Prudy BRADFORD[5] both of Loughnakelly[6] in the said parish of Clones and County aforesaid whereby the said Margaret LOUGH did assign and make over unto the said Matthew LOUGH and John BRADFORD [7]and their heirs and assigns her right title and interest in and to 8.2 acres of that part of his farm which joins the farms of William[8] and Samuel LOUGH[9] from the time of his intended marriage with the said Prudy BRADFORD for and during the tendency of her lease subject to a proportionable part of the headrent and whereby the said John BRADFORD did assign convey and make over to the said Matthew LOCKE  his right title and interest in and to the half of his farm in Lognakelly aforesaid adjoining that part of Lognakelly lately occupied by the late James MARSHALL[10] at the rent which he pays for the same which by said deed is agreed between the parties that in case the said Prudy shall survive the said Matthew she her [Lessee?] or assignment shall have hold and enjoy the half of the said Farm thereby granted and assigned by the said John BRADFORD and whereby the said Matthew LOUGH for himself his heirs and assigns quit all claim right title and interest in and to all the remainder of the lands of Crivoghey now in the possession of the said Margaret LOUGH and which deed is witnessed by James Turner[11] of Clenkirhe[12] and William LOUGH of Cravoghey both in the said County of Monaghan and this Memorial as to the execution thereof by the said Matthew LOUGH is witnessed by the said William LOUGH and Samuel Graydon[13] of Clones in said County. Matthew LOUGH [seal]. Signed and sealed in presence of William LOUGH Samuel Graydon William LOUGH of Crevoghy in the County of Monaghan aged 20 years and upwards maketh oath and says that he is a subscribing witness to the deed of which the above is a Memorial and to the above Memorial saith he saw the said deed duly executed by the party or parties thereto saith he saw the said Matthew LOUGH duly sign and seal this Memorial and that the name William LOUGH signed as a witness to the said deed and Memorial is the proponents proper name and handwriting. William LOUGH sworn before me at Clones in the County of Monaghan this 28th day of February 1807 by virtue of a commission to me directed for taking affidavits in said County and I know the deponent.
