Twenty first day of December one Thousand & seven hundred & fifty
three made between the Reverend Robert PRINGLE of Maddincourt in the County
of Armagh Clke of the first part Thomas ENERY of the City of Dublin Esq
& Henry PRINGLE Esq. Lieutenant in General Blakenies Regiment of Foot of
the second part & Frans ENERY spinster eldest daughter of the
Reverend Doctor William ENERY of Killishandra in the County of Cavan of the
third part. Reciting that a marriage was intended to be shortly had between
the said Robert PRINGLE and the said Frans ENERY; ….(so it seems)
… the lands of Doogry, Enogh, Lisbanoe, Kennedies, Aghavilly, Lislea,
Killynure & Magherarville “… to the use & intent that the sd Frances in case she should survive the said Robert might have and receive

Memorial of a deed of article of marriage bearing date 22 Oct 1750 made by
and between Jane NORRIS of Torreg & Charles NORRIS of Lardkeen both in
the Parish of Aghalow, CO. Tyrone of the one part & Andrew OLIVER Parish
of Tynan, Co. Armagh of the other part “witnesseth that whereas it appears
by the said deed a marriage was intended between the said Charles NORRIS and
Sarah OLIVER, daughter to said Andrew OLIVER that this said Jane (or
James?) for and in consideration of his paternal love and affection to
the said Charles and for and in consideration of the said marriage hath
thereby given, granted and assigned over to the said Charles a full half or
moiety of Larakeen with the Houses, Appurts and Improvements therein as then
in his possession and also one half or moitie ... etc. “ Original lease held
under Margaret HAMILTON now Countess of Orrery ... Andrew besides the above
specified portion intends to consider the said Sarah as having a
child’s part at his death and the said deed of which htis is a memorial is
witnessed by Ben OLIVER of Farmacartly in the County of Armagh, farmer and
by John CALDWELL of Caledon in the County of Tyrone, merchant of this
Memorial is witnessed by the said John CALDWELL and by Robert BRENAN of

dated respectively 4th and 5th days of November 1754, the Lease between
Henry JACKSON, Lisnaboe, County Meath, Gent, 1st part, Thomas
JACKSON, Lisnaboe son of the said Henry JACKSON, the other part.
The Release between the said Henry JACKSON and Mary his wife, 1 St
part, said Thos JACKSON, the other part.
Reciting that the said Henry JACKSON and Mary his wife in
consideration of the said Thomas JACKSON's paying the sum of £228
Principal money due by the said Henry JACKSON and £50 sterling
interest thereon and the said Thos also paying unto Henry JACKSON, the
Younger the sum of £50 sterling.
Also paying the sum of £30 unto Jane JACKSON and £30 to Ann
JACKSON and the sum of £10 sterling to the said Henry JACKSON, the
Elder and Mary his wife during their lives and to the survivors of them and
for the further consideration in the Indenture mentioned in the grant to the
said Thomas JACKSON all the lands of Lisnaboe to hold forever.
And did also grant unto the said Thomas all his, the said Henry
JACKSON the Elder's, right and title to the lands of Rath, County Meath. To
hold the lands of Rath during the term the of the Residue of the remaining
years in said lease yet to come and unexpired . No JACKSON Witnesses. |

forty six whereby Alex Coulter of Dundalk in the County of Louth Tanner did
demise & set unto Patrick Murphy of the said town & County
Miller all that and those the house and tenement then in the
possession of Rose McVeagh otherwise called Rose Murphy & Thomas
Downey with the Garden & all the Appurt thereunot belongg Situate
in the Lower Ward of Dundalk aforesaid containning in front thirty
one feet of thereabouts more or less bounded on the east with the
street of Dundalk aforesaid on the West with the little green
then in possession of Mark Sands on the North with Sd Alex
Coulters Dwelling & Garden on the south with Ambroses
holding to hold for the term of Thirty-one years from the ninth day of the
then inst Oct at the yearly rent of one pound four shilling Sterling payable
Lord Limerick excepted which said leaase is witnessed by Murtagh Mullholland
Gent and John Murphy Taylor both of Dundalk aforesaid and this memorial
is witnessed by the sd John Murphy & Barney Murphy of Dundalk aforesaid
son to sd John Murphy - Patrick Murphy [SEAL} signed 14th of
March 1755 at or near half an hour after eleven o’clock in the
forenoon. |
