NOTES:
Deed of Assignment between Robert WILSON the younger of Tandragee in Parish
& County of Armagh Cloth merchant of the one part and Arthur OLIVER of
Ballinahonebeg in the Parish & County aforesaid, Farmer of the
other part. Wherin is recited that Robert WILSON the elder of Tandragee
aforesaid deceased did by deed bearing date 1st August 1765 in consideration
of the sum of £370 did sell unto Benjamin OLIVER his exec ... all that part
of Ballinahonebeg containing 10 acres 2 roods together with the mill and
water dam and water course leading from same to the River Callan ... & a
liberty of washing rubbing and beetling all cloth in said Mill which
he the said Robert WILSON the elder or Robert WILSON the younger his son
shall have bleaching each day in case of an insufficiency of water there and
said deed witnesseth that said Robert WILSON the younger in consideration of
£5 sterling to be paid by Arthur OLIVER did sell transfer and make over uto
the said Andrew OLIVER his exec ... all the liberty of Beetling, Washing
& rubbing cloth at said mill of Ballinahonebeg which his father Robert
WILSON the elder hd resd to hold to the asid Arthur OLIVER his
exec ... every right title, etc. in said Mill which he might have and claim
which assignment is witnessed by Joseph OLIVER & John OLIVER both of
Ballinahonebeg aforesaid Gentlemen and this memorial witnessed by the said
John OLIVER & John McDAD of Lehnacollum in Co. Armagh, millright. Robert

A memorial of a deed bearing date 17th Jan 1797 made between John
OLIVER Mary OLIVER and Elizabeth OLIVER both of Ballinahonebeg, Co. Armagh
and John SCOTT of Umgola, Co. Armagh. Reciting that the said John, Mary
& Eliza OLIVER had deemed part of the lands of Ballinahonebeg aforesaid
with the bleach mills, Mill dam, weir and water course therto belonging with
several other things - Reserving thereat Liberty to convey the water from the
Mills in the lands of Kennedies then in the possession of William GARVINs
[well?] And reciting that it was intended by said parties to said lease that
the Current of Water in said dam should be Contd to flow and run
in the ame bed it now occupies so that the Mill is sadi demise be not
injured by any decision or [?] there of. Whereby the said John and Mary

Wherin it is recited that that whereas Wm Johnston of the City and
County of Armagh Gent did by indenture of lease bearing date the sixth
day of October 1795 Demise unto said Benjamin KIDD all that and
those that front Dwelling House Offices Yard and Garden lying and being on
the south side of Thomas Street in the said City of Armagh bounded on
the South by the holding of Arthur Irwin on the north by the holding

mentioned did Demise Grant Set and to [farm?] Let Release and Confirm Unto
the Said John JACKSON (then being by virtue of a Lease for a year as therein
mentioned & to his assigns all that and there that part of the Lands of
Urker known by the name of the Charter Lands then in the [?ossession] of the
said John JACKSON Containing by estimation 29 acres, two roods or
thereabouts be the same more or less which is [_arly] described in a map or
[__rchart] there of thereunto annexed situate lying and being in the Parish
of Creggan Barony of Upper Fews and County of Armagh Excepting and Reserving

Deed
settlement 1804 August 31 between Joseph OLIVER of Ballyrea, Co Armagh Gent
of the first part & James HAMILTON of Tullymore Co ?ster of the second
part. David OLIVER of Ballyrea in the Said county Gents of the other part
and Robert HAMILTON of the City of Dublin, Surgeon and James MAXWELL of
C?lton of the said City, Gent. .... that a marriage was intended to be had
and so solemized between the said Joseph OLIVER and Jane HAMILTON said David
OLIVER had agreed to Grant and convey the lands of Laragh and Carnecarrow
and the Mills and the Lands of Deryyha to said Robert and ? HAMILTON in
trust to settle and Secure an annuity .... early sum of [pounds] 50 as a
Jointure for said Jane HAMILTON in Case she should survive said Joseph
OLIVER [hard to read] ... Robert MAXWELL & Maxwell HAMILTON ....
[possibly] James Maxwell HAMILTON ... townland of Derryhat within parish of
Tynan and County Armagh .... townland commonly known by the name Kilniore
with the two islands .... lands of Tullymore then in the possession of the
