This is a second group of Quaker JACKSONs who lived in the early 1700s in the vicinity of Kings Co. and Co. Kildare. They emigrated to America and intermarried with another Quaker family from the same region. It is likely that this line of JACKSONs is also related to JACKSONs who are included in a family tree of Jacksons of Ballygibbon.

Thanks to the Ancestry.com family tree of Valerie Walker Peery, I have been able to add a few more names to the 1st three generations of this family. Thanks also to the family tree of jacksonandpierce, and a DNA match, it seems quite possible that I am related to Thomas JACKSON (1710-bet 1751-1756). This opens up new lines of inquiry – especially with respect to other Co. Kildare trees, as well as Quaker branches in Co. Down.
UpdateJuly 28, 2017 & September 19, 2018 correction of date typo (changes in red)

NOTE: It is interesting that John JACKSON is b. 1703 in Kings Co., and has a son named George JACKSON about whom we know nothing at present. At the same time, in the Jackson of Ballyboy Tree, there is a George JACKSON b 1727 who has an unnamed father. This is a tantalizing coincidence that deserves further scrutiny. May 13, 2013.
Update: I just noticed that the parish of Ardkill where Thomas JACKSON was born (1710) is on the western border of the parish of Timahoe where Mary JACKSON was born (1708). This is of interest because the following deeds are likely linked (also note the frequency of the mention of MILLER - a Mary MILLER, daughter of James MILLER married Isaac JACKSON (?-1740) in 1730 - this is a Quaker family that emigrated to America):

Deed: 13-52-4918 1709 Jan 7 Between Hon Richard Lord BELLEW Baron of Dunleek of 1 pt & Thomas JACKSON of Dryhett, Barony of Carberry, Co. Kildare, farmer of other part .. set to JACKSON 107A in Dryhett ... lives of Thomas JACKSON, John WEILY, James MILLER the younger of Tymaco all of Co. Kildare. WITNESS: Henry DOWDALL of City of Dublin, Thomas FORTESQUE & John MULHOLLAN of same, Gent. 16 Mar 1713.NOTE: Dryhett is the townland now known as Drehid, Parish of Ardkill, Barony of Carbury. It is near the townland of Ballygibbon where JACKSONs also held leases.

Deed: 33-424-20772 1722, May 30 Alexander WYLY of Gilltown, Co. Kildare farmer of the first part & Samuel MICKLE of Timahoe in Co. Kildare farmer of the second part & Robert WYLY of the same place of the third part, James MILLER of the same place of the fourth part, Samuel MILLER of the same place of the fifth part, John MILLHOUSE of the same place farmer of the sixth part, Thomas JACKSON [Parish of Timahoe, Barony of Clane,Co. 9.  Misc, The Quaker records said that he was a Thomas Jackson born in 1710 at Drechet, Kings Co. So far, so good, but I could not find Drechet for love nor money. A chance encounter with a fellow researcher “Betty” pointed out that another record gave his birthplace as Dreighet, Co. Kildare. http://www.familyorigins.com/users/l/e/v/Gail-Ann-Levis/FAMO1-0001/d242.htm#P790 Well, now we were somewhere. A quick dig around led me to Drehid, Parish of Arkill, Barony of Carbury, Co. Kildare. This would make sense. This is in the north-easterly part of Co. Kildare. A quick peek at the ordinance survey maps, and Bobs your uncle. This barony is on the border of Kings Co., and there are tons of Jacksons in the surrounding parishes on both sides of the border.
