MENARY:
The following chart contains material about
MENARYs from Northern Ireland available on the web as well as
in the Civil Registration of births. Regrettably, none of the
web-based names have any sources attached. Some are more suspect
than others. They are not much more than a starting point.
I have focussed on the names of MENARY families who lived in Northern
Ireland in the mid-1800s and early 1900s as well as their "cousins"
in Canada with whom they exchanged visits, photos, newspaper clippings
and letters. It is my hope that others will be able to assist
me in finding the missing pieces.

*NOTE:
These are the same names that Lauren BROCKMAN shared on the MENARY list
(email July 13, 2005). Her list includes many more children and has
a birth date of 7 May 1833 for Isaac. The fearncombe-hyde website at
rootsweb also has this date as well as the birthplace of Co. Tyrone.
I have included the children as named in that site. The name WILSON
is of interest as is Co. Tyrone as a later generation of our MENARY
line married a WILSON and also there were Co. Tyrone connections.
**NOTE: We know that Mary MENARY was born
at Maghery, so I would assume that this and Tyanan are one and the same
place. Just the Civil Registry's way of recording it.
