probated in Armagh 1770) who in a lease 27 September 1782 demised
to Sarah SEAVER & Arthur OLIVER of Ballinahonebeg - 1/3 part of the
townland of Ballinahonebeg as was lately held by Charles SEAVER & his
undertenants containing 92 acres ... [refers to] Deed of partition made
between Sarah SEAVER & Arthur OLIVER 15 Nov 1783 that Sarah SEAVER
(executor etc) would have ½ of all rents and fines issuing out of the part

Between Robert JACKSON of Town & Co. Armagh Gent of he one part &
Arthur OLIVER of Ballinahone begg in said Co. & Sarah SEAVER widow of
Charles SEAVER late of Ballynahonebegg (NOTE: A Charles SEAVER had a will
probated in 1762 and Sarah SEAVER had a will probated 1792. I wonder if she
was an OLIVER.) aforesaid deceased of the other part. Robert JACKSON was
paid £850 by Arthur OLIVER & Sarah SEAVER & did set over to Arthur
OLIVER & Sarah SEAVER all that the lands of Ballynahonebegg in Parish of
Armagh possessed by Thomas VERNER Esq. The executor of Benjamin OLIVER
deceased. The said Sarah LEAVER & other so assigned by Henry HALL &

Memorial of an indenture of lease bearing date the Seventh day of Novr. One
thousand seven hundred and eighty one between Robert MAXWELL of
Fellowshall in the County of Armagh Esq of the one part and Wm OLIVER
of Ennisbarr in the parish and County of Armagh farmer of the other part.
Whereby the said Robert Maxwell for the Considn in said Lease mentioned did
Demise Grant and sett and to farm let all that and those that part of the
Townland of Brootely late in possession of Elizabeth Clogher and now in his
possession as the same is now measured and bounded situate lying and being in
the Manod or Belleagh parish of Derrynoose Barony and County of Armagh
Containing by estimation Fifty-three acres English or Statute measure be the
same more or less with the Appurts. To hold to the said Wm OLIVER his Execos
Admons and Assigns from the first day of Novr then Inst for the term of
Nineteen years at and under the yearly rent of thirty pounds nine
Shillings and Sixpence with Twelve pence a pound receivers fees and duties
therein mentioned with clauses of distress and reentry and other Clauses
Common and usual between Landlord and Tenant And the said lease doth therin
Contain a Covenant of ????Quoties for the Ocnsidn of a fine
proportionable to be paid to the said Robert MAXWELL his heirs admons and
assigns as he or they Shall pay to the provost and Fellows of Trinity
College Dublin for renewing his Lease of which the Demised premis is a
part and also proportionable part of raised rent in case any
additional rent shall hereafter be imposed by the said Lessors on the said
Robt MAXWELL which said Indenture of Lease is witnessed by Maxwell Close of
Elmpark in the County of Armagh Esq and Saml CUMING of Keady in the said

Co. of Armagh Gent of the one part and James OLIVER of Augsebragh in the
said Co. of Armagh Gent of the other part. Wherin is recited that Wm OLIVER
of Mullintur in said County of Armagh being seized in the townland of
Tullysarren in the said County of Armagh devised the same to Rev OLIVER
& Wm OLIVER share and share alike and also that said William OLIVER died
a bachelor intestate whereby his share in said lands descended to his two
brothers the said Andrew OLIVER & John OLIVER and said release witnessed
that the said Revd Andrew OLIVER, Andrew OLIVER and John OLIVER in
considation of the sum of £100.11s.1 ½ to them in hand paid by the said
James OLIVER did grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto the said
James OLIVER his heirs and assigns all that and those the Town and Lands of

Meml of a mortgage bearing date the Seventh day of August one thousand seven
hundred and ninety three from James Greig of Thomastown in the County of Kilkenny
Merchant to Thomas JACKSON of Parliament Street in the City of Dublin Gent.
Whereby the Sd James Greig in considern of the sum of three hundred pounds
Sterg to him in hand paid by the said Thomas JACKSON all that and those the
dwelling house and grist mill then in the possession of the said James Grieg
and the two townlands and Cabbins lying between Patrick Bergin’s house and
Cody’s Bridge then under lease from Michael Laughnan to John Brereton
together with the piece of Ground that lies between said Mill Pond and
to within twelve feet of the small road leading to Joseph KELLY’s Mill and
between the west side of Cody’s Bridge and Joseph KELLY’s Garden As
same was marked and painted out by said Michael Laughnane in presence
of James McENERY and George MINCHIN and also a small island or spot of waste
ground at the South East side of Cody’s Bridge and adjoining said
Bridge containing in front of said Bridge thirty feet over towards the
stream that runs under the second Arch next Monteen of said Cody’s Bridge
which said premises and lotts of ground are part of the holding
called Monteen being part of the Corporation Lands of Thomastown Situate
lying and being in the barony of Goran and County of Kilkenny aforesaid the
said premises to be subject to the same Reservations Savings Clausees and
Covenants that the same Michael Laughran is bound by lease to Mr. John
Davis of Summer Hill and County aforesaid. To hold to the said
Thos JACKSON Exors admors and Assgns for the residue of the term of forty-one
years therin mentioned which Commenced the twenty-fifth day of March one
thousand seven hundred and ninety three being the term granted therof to the
sadi James Greig by lease from said Michael Laughnan subject to the
yearly rent and covenant in said lease mentioned and subject also to
Redemption upon payment of said three hundred pounds and lawful interestas
therin is also mentioned which said dee and this meml thereof are
executed by the said James Geig in presence and witnessed by Pierce Dillon

William OLIVER senior containing by estimation 53 acres English statute
measure be the same more or less togeth with an Irish good of turf Bog the
whole situate lying and being in the Manor of Belleagh parish of Berrynoose

A memorial of an indented deed of assignment bearing date the 14th day of January
1804 and made or mentioned to be made between Samuel CARSONlate of the city of Armagh but then of
Fredericktown in the state of Maryland one of the United States of American
Apothecary of the one part and Benjamin OLIVERof Enislare in the County of Armagh Farmer of the
other part Whereby after Reciting as therein is receipted the said Samuel
CARSON in consideration of two hundred and eighty two pounds sterling did
grant Bargain Sell Assign Transfer & Make Over onto the said Benjamin
OLIVER and to his Executors Administrators and Assigns all that and does not
part or parcel of land situate lying and being in Magherykillcraneyin the county of Armagh aforesaid formally demised
to Thomas MOOREHEADand then in the possession of the said Samuel
CARSON and his under tenants containing by estimation thirty one acres two
roods and thirteen perches be the same more or less together with such
liberty of cutting Turf in the Bog of Farnalayas is granted by the lease of said premises made by
Dillon Pollard of Castle Pollardin the County of Westmeath Esq. to said Samuel
Carson To Hold unto the said Benjamin Oliver his Executors Administrators
& Assigns from the First day of November then last part for and during
all the rest residue and remainder of a lease of twenty years by said Lease
granted then to come and unexpired and for and during all and any such
further and future terms and times as should for ever thereafter be added
thereto pursuant to the Toties QuotiesCovenant for Renewal in said lease contained But
subject to payment of the Rents Fines and receivers Fees and to the
performance of the several Clauses Reservations and Covenants in and by said
