Update March 12, 2020 Marriage date of Mary POOLE

After assembling this tree, I am still curious:

  • Where did the first Richard JACKSON of Tinenare aka Culloge come from prior to the early 1700s?
  • Was he connected to the JACKSONs who resided in the Liberties of Thomas & St. Donore, City of Dublin in the early 1700s – specifically teh JACKSONs who resided near Meath Street? Possibly. William & John JACKSON’s later holdings in Paradise Road, City of Dublin are also of interest.
  • Because I was also curious about Rev. William JACKSON (1737-1795) of United Irishmen fame and a possible connection to the GORE family in Co. Longford, I have included a few of those deeds. So far, I see no connection between him and this family of JACKSONs.

NOTE: Finenenae aka Tinneneane  aka Tinenare aka Tineneure was in Barony Ardagh Parish Masrtim aka Mostrim. It is rendered in the Memorials of Deeds Counties index as: Tonanocrake akaTonanacre. Betham's abstracts describe the first Richard Jackson in this region as being of Tinenane (see entry for 1767). For the clue that Teninare was in the townland now called Ballindagny and Cullyvore, see the deed beneath #47609 dated Feb 11, 1730..
